Just to show you all the beautiful dark hair!!

Conner Mathew has arrived!!! He is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen! 7lb, 11oz and
21in long. He was born about 6:24 pm on December 20. He has a head full of dark hair.
If you are interested in seeing some video shots of our weekend in the hospital simply go to google and type in Conner Easley and there will be quite a few video clips of the birth.
Here he is only about 30 minutes old.
Jon getting in some early practice.....real early practice!!!!

The proud, and I do mean proud, Grandpa!

This was taken early that morning before the contractions changed her smiling face to well, let's just say she wasn't really smiling much later on that day, but she did so well! I'm so proud of my sister!

I put up my Christmas tree this weekend! I am so ready for the holidays to come!
I was having lots of fun taking Claire's picture.
She didn't really like her paws on the box, but she was good and stayed still...for a second.
This is her beggin' for the gift!

There's a surprise under the tree! My little baby!

A little gift among the others.
This was taken while in Alabama for Jon's grandpa's funeral.

Kevin, Jodi, Paul, Myra, Marybeth, Issac, Greg, Steve, Brooklyn, and I all joined a soccer team this winter. So far we have a smashing record of one win!

This is me wondering what I'm suppose to be doing. Seriously, I am having lots of fun playing.
My cousin Stephenie's youngest boy Chase. He is so adorable. He really loves those two middle fingers!

Well, you can't say I didn't warn you in my last post....I told you it would be a couple of months before I would probably blog again. Actually, I really didn't think it would be this long either.
So, a little update . I have started another class....(An Algebra class!!!) Jon finished his four CPA tests and found out he passed all four of them!! Jon's grandpa died and we took a flying trip to Alabama. The trip went very well in spite of the circumstances. I was able to meet all of the Avery family for the first time and I got to see Josh for the first time since he's been married. After the trip, I helped with Rachael's baby shower and she now has finished the baby's nursery. I was not able to get any pictures on my camera of the shower, but as soon as I get them from a friend I will post them. I was quite pleased with how the decor turned out.
So, not much has happened since I last blogged...maybe that's why I avoid updating and would rather stick to being a 'lurker'.

We finally got a new camera!! Here are a couple of pictures of random things that have been happening in our lives lately. I'm pretty bad at updating my blog, so I hope you enjoy these pics for the next couple of months! =)

Matt, Kevin, Jon, Paul and Myra playing a business game.
They were really into it!

My lovely sister all cute and pregnant. I begged her to pose this way. She always said she would never take a picture posing like this, but I made her do it.

Yes, Emily was keeping us all entertained!

Just one of the few branches that fell during the wind storm we had last Sunday.

We were out of power from Sunday until yesterday (Friday). It was quite a week for Jon. He had to laugh one morning when he got to work and only half of his face was shaved properly. To say the least, we were quite done with the whole camping thing by the time Friday rolled around. I'm thankful we live in a day where everything runs on electric. I would not have been a good pioneer woman. I think my family would have starved to death if it was up to me to slave over a fire pit for our meals!! I'm a horrible cook as it is, let alone to have to make a meal from scratch and then try to cook it over a fire.

The wind blew our chairs around and some more limbs down on our deck.

This is through our window. (reason for the fuzzy pic) I felt this limb was little too close to our window.

The rest of the same limb from the picture above.

Alt park! What a beautiful place!

Just one of our beautiful hibiscus flowers.

Okay, you know I have to add a picture of my baby!! I know you don't care, but I think she is so cute and so much fun. If you look closely she has her tongue sticking out. This happens quite a bit because of her overbite. I find it quite amusing! (Jon's studying for his CPA exam which he has passed three out of the four sections already!!!)

Okay, I'll stop posting pics of my dog. Rachael thinks I'm ridiculous as it is.

Sorry!!!

Hey everyone, sorry that I have not added anything real recently. Just as I began my blog, my camera broke. I also have just started back to work at Aldersgate Academy and it has been keeping me quite busy.

I am really enjoying this year so far. The school has changed the curriculum to ABeka and I am loving it! I didn't particularly enjoy the ACE set up. The class has adjusted to the switch quite well. Their doing a great job on their work.

Just for all of you who may not know....I am going to be an aunt in December! I am so thrilled! My sister and her husband Kevin just found out that it's going to be a boy! Our family is changing little by little!! I am looking forward to spoiling the little boy rotten!

Well, I hope to nag Jon enough to either fix my camera or buy me a new one soon. I have really enjoyed learning how to be apart of the blogging world! Until next time.
